Ventilation and dehumidification units for indoor swimming-pools WPLE 2250-5200

The heat pump for ventilation and dehumidification in indoor swimming-pools (hereinafter only the WPLE unit) is a compact air-system device integrated with a complete cooling circuit containing working filling consisting of cooling agent and oil. The WPLE unit consists of two sections transported separately which are put together to a single aggregate during installation. 

The first (entry) section, the „energetic“ one is the main functional part. It provides filtration both of internal and external air (the filtration class of EU 7) on the one hand and on the other hand primarily all energetic functions, i.e. heat recovery, air dehumidification and additional heating including operation of a complete cooling circuit or more precisely the heat pump which is a part of this section.  It also includes an electric switchboard with power wiring and a control system. The second (output) section, the „fan“ one, contains fans transporting both supplied and discharged air. 

The advantages of the split structure are variability and flexibility, i.e. especially easier transportation and possibility to offer a „left“ or a „right“ model.
When external air ducts, the heating water distribution line, the mains, external sensors and the external control panel have been connected and after connection its draining pipeline (condensed air humidity) to sewer line inlet, the WPLE unit is ready to putting into operation.

Basic functions of the WPLE unit

a) Ventilation
In its function of ventilation the unit operates with 100% of fresh air with heat recovery as standard. In summertime operation, the unit can run without the heat recovery.
b)  Dehumidification
In its function of dehumidification the unit operates either with circulation air purely or circulation air mixed with a certain portion (a nominal value of 30%) of sucked fresh air; heat recovery is standard. In summertime operation, the unit can be operated without the heat recovery.

Technical design of the WPLE units

• Stable frame made of aluminium sections with panels insulated both thermally and acoustically.
• Microprocessor control system controlling dehumidification, ventilation and heat pump functions. Various operating modes and time programs.
• Cooling circuit operation with ecologically harmless cooling agent  R 407C.
• Heat exchangers are surface protected by a special anti-corrosive layer.
• Removable cassettes with replaceable air filters, the filtration class of EU7.
• A hot water heater for air is installed in each type as standard.
