What is necessary for installation

1. Inquiry

An inquiry for the heat pump should contain the following data:

  • Thermal losses of the building (ought to be given in the central heating design)
  • If the thermal losses are not known: we can calculate the TL and it is necessary for this to have the constructional drawing documentation of the building (floor plans, sections, views and structure compositions – building materials, insulations, windows etc.)
  • In case neither of the previous information is available, the building can be measured during a personal consultation visit or the calculation can be based on the actual energy consumption
  • The heat pump type (air – water, earth – water, water – water); if in doubt as to the choice, with pleasure we explain you advantages and disadvantages of those systems and we will assist you in the selection
  • The heating system – floor heating, radiators, a combined system
  • Service hot water warming – the number of supplied persons
  • Contact

2. Personal meeting, quotation

  • We prefer a personal meeting before making our quotation in order to know your definite idea and requirements
  • Then the quotation ought to be complete for the whole machinery – i.e. the heat pump inclusive of regulation, a bivalence source, a buffer tank, a service hot water tank, transportation and assembly
  • Through our assembly companies we are also able to present you a quotation for your heating system

3. Design and other legislation

  • The design of the central heating is important from the point of view of the heating system which should be designed for the maximum thermal gradient of 50/45°C
  • An inspection of the heating system at least is important in existing buildings
  • A notice of construction shall be presented to the respective building office

4. Heat pump installation – assembly requirements

a) Air - water

  • Minimum requirements – a foundation for the evaporator and a wall cutout in the event of split models
  • Condensate drainning out and a wall cutout in the event of internal models

b) Earth - water

  • An earth collector, horizontal  (planar) or vertical (depth) one
  • The permission based on the legislation in force
  • The building permission
  • The permission based on the law on dispose of waters
  • The permission from the Czech mining office

c) Water - water

  • Two wells (suction and drain) sufficiently distant each other
  • Suitable composition of pumped water
  • A minimum water temperature of +8°C all the year round
  • Sufficient water flow rate verified by a pumping test taking two weeks at least
  • The permission based on the legislation in force
  • The building permission
  • The permission based on the law on dispose of waters
  • The permission from the Czech mining office
